Rosegold is Gold's corrupt counterpart. He is very serious and aggressive, but also cunning and meticulous, acting as the mastermind of the Villains. He is very well known for his little "corruption sprees" alongside Maroon, Spook, and Lycanthropy.

Story

Sometime during an unpublished chapter of Blerix’s Corruption, he was corrupted by Spook and Lycanthropy alongside Citren, and joined them in their unrelenting corruption spree throughout Paradise. However much later, he was corrupted by Cintagram and began plotting to corrupt everything in an organized manner.

Appearance

Most of the time, Rosegold wears a large black hoodie that hides his entire body and makes him appear to be a hooded flower. However, underneath, he takes on nearly the same appearance as his uncorrupted counterpart.

Personality

Rosegold is somewhat bossy and does not take well to anyone who doesn't obey him. However, while he is mean, he is a fitting leader and leads by example. As such, he is very smart and plans out all of his corruption sprees. He usually has Lycan and Spook inflict the first corruptions for him before corrupting anything himself, thus lulling the Heroes and Caretakers into a false sense of security, opening an opportunity that he will seize vigorously.

When not infecting other shapes, he’s usually asleep or in hiding.

Weapons and Powers

Holdable Weapon

Nobody knows why, nobody knows how, but Rosegold has an ax. It is much larger than him. He usually shows it while hooded to further enhance the illusion of being a flower.

Controllable Weapon

Some don't classify this as a weapon. Rosegold can send out the mother lode of bullets by spinning around wildly.

Voice

Beeps

Gold's but lower pitched and more distorted. When he is hooded, it is even deeper.

Acting

Same as Gold's. When he is hooded, it is in obvious mimicry of Lythorus.

Trivia

  • The cunning personality and flower illusion were actually inspired by my vision of a level featuring him back when he was a massive reference to Ol666's Medusa level.
