1: Words Swearing IS allowed on this wiki, but all slurs will be edited out of pages and the writer will be warned. (If persistent on using it, they will be banned from the wiki indefinitely. I can also link sources if you don’t believe something I warned you for is a slur.)
2: Discourse All users are allowed to create and edit pages of this wiki regardless of which continuation they consider canon. However, discourse over which one is canon is strictly forbidden and all involved users will be warned. (NOTE: This rule does not apply if the user actively harasses others outside of the wiki, in which they will be banned and blacklisted.)
3: Fanfiction first, AUs second Fanfics and AUs tend to overlap, but generally a fanfic contains less drastic changes from the canon TPC and in some cases could possibly fit if it were canon, while an AU can freely alter almost every aspect of TPC in any way and is often clearly distinguishable from the canon. AUs are also less likely to feature OCs. While fanfics can be labeled as AUs and AUs can be labeled as fanfics, if the content you’re writing about fits more under the description of an AU it may fit better as a page on the AU wiki. You may also prefer the AU wiki if you would rather tag your content as an AU.
4: Editing You may edit your own pages freely so long as you do not remove what administrators have added and you abide in the wiki rules. You may only edit someone else's page without permission to add the proper categories and/or correct grammar and formatting mistakes (and the page owner is free to remove these edits if they feel it was not correct). If someone needs help adding or correcting something, they may ask for help, in which you are allowed to notify them that you will try and see what you can do for them. If you wish to add fanart to their page, you may show it to them to add or ask to add it yourself (do not throw a fuss if they say no). Admins may edit pages in whatever way they need to, including removing slurs, but they may not remove anything that does not need to be removed. Nobody is allowed to create a page for a character that does not belong to them or finish an unfinished page for the owner.
5. Lewd or otherwise sexual content Sexual content is not allowed on this wiki. Many of us here are minors and/or sex-repulsed, and we want to make this wiki a safe place for those sorts of people. Not to mention, why the fuck would one make sexual content from an animation/comic series about a game that’s literally about shapes and beats, you have so much better material for that /lh
6. Triggering content If someone asks you not to bring up a certain topic while talking to them because it is a trigger (something that can cause extremely damaging emotional experiences such as panic attacks, traumatic flashbacks, or intense feelings of guilt) or a squick (something that often heavily disgusts or annoys someone), then you should respect that. Also, it is considered polite/courteous/kind to add trigger or content warnings to pages that contain commonly triggering topics such as death (and any type of crime that involves it), emeto (vomit), flashing lights and eyestrain (these may not necessarily be triggers or squicks, but still should have a warning as they can still be extremely harmful), and suggestive content (anything that doesn’t violate rule 5 but can still be uncomfortable in the same way), and admins are allowed to add these warnings to high-traffic pages containing these topics if they feel it is needed, but it is not required by anyone to put warnings on your content. (I like to add these warnings by putting "TW/CW: (content that may be upsetting)" near the top of the page!)
7: Bigotry Content containing any form of homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, cultural oppression (Christianity oppressing other religions, for example), antisemitism, or other form of bigotry will be removed and the user will be warned. (If you didn’t know what you got warned for was bigoted, don’t worry! Now you can unlearn whatever bigoted belief you expressed.)
8: Harassment Following up rule 7, any form of harassment is not allowed.
9: Problematic content Content that promotes pedophilia, zoophilia, incest, anti-medicine ideals, cultural appropriation, or other harmful ideals will be removed.
