Iris, Iris, I know you're here, come out and take proper care of me...

Maroon inviting Iris to become corrupted

Maroon is Citren's corrupted counterpart and very well known for his little "corruption sprees" alongside Spook, Rosegold, and Lycanthropy.

Story

Sometime during an unpublished chapter of Blerix's Corruption, Citren was corrupted by Spook and Lycanthropy alongside Gold and joined them in their continuous streak of rapidly corrupting others.

Appearance

Maroon is extremely gender non-conforming in nature and refuses to fit the standards of what a Villain should look like. Keeping the hair he has in a long ponytail, sometimes with several flowers (the plant, not the shape) in it, is the most noticeable example of this, though he sometimes also wears skirts, makeup, or rarely, dresses. Otherwise, he closely resembles his pure counterpart.

Personality

Maroon loves to corrupt, don't get me wrong, but he is also curious to know whether his target is willing. He'll invite them to interact with him, subtly hinting that he will corrupt them as they do so. Other than corrupting other shapes for shits and giggles, Maroon will roughhouse with Rosegold, hang out with Magenta, play video games, and play with his mace.

He has an interest in flowers (again, the plant), insects, and cooking. Additionally, he enjoys making designs with LGBTQ+ flag colors.

Weapons and Powers

Held Weapon

Nobody knows why, nobody knows how, but he has a mace and treats it like a toy.

Corrupted Kiss

Villains can corrupt shapes they're particularly fond of with a kiss.

Voice

Beeps

Maroon's beeps are the same as Citren's except distorted.

Acting

Just like Citren's.

Trivia

  • This Villain was strangely the hardest for me to name because I wanted him to be named after a pinkish orange color, but "Beige" didn't sound right.
  • I accidentally colored him the wrong shade of pink in the old infobox image. He was supposed to be the same shade of pink as the other Villains.
  • When asked whether he happened to be gay or transfeminine, or just acted feminine out of rebelliousness, Maroon answered that he does not identify with any particular term for his sexuality or gender and simply considers himself a queer boy.
